The Company, set up by the association of some fruit growers from Piedmont, is located in
Costigliole Saluzzo and Verzuolo, an area surrounded by Monviso Valley.
This is the fruit-growing area par excellence in the province of Cuneo.
The typical piedmont climate and the extraordinary sunny area are best conditions for apple,
kiwi and peach-growing as they improve the organoleptic qualities of sweetness and good flavour
as well as deep-coloration.
All these characteristics make these products successful all over the world.
The province of Cuneo features in fact the major fruit growers of Piedmont Region. Sanifrutta, by
processing almost entirely products from Piedmont (in particular from the province of Cuneo),
promotes and advertises "made in Cuneo" fruit worl-wide, aware of its product goodness.
Moreover, thanks to the connection with public bodies such as Region and Province through Creso (consortium
for research, testing and publication for fruit and vegetable farming in Piedmont) and Piemonte Asprofrut
(organization of fruit growers in Piedmont), Sanifrutta assures to apply peculiar integrated
fruit growing techniques as guarantee of safe and healthy production and respect for the
environment.
