Sanifrutta’s apples come from a growing area at about 400/800 meters above sea level. The main crops are Royal Gala (new clones of this variety are also collected), Red Delicious (whose overriding variety is Red Chief and new red apple clones) and Golden Delicious.
Royal Gala and Red Delicious are going to be labelled with the brand IGP (Protected Geographical Identifi cation) by EU. Apple packing range includes the so called plateaux, such as Trypack 18/20 kg net weight, bulk in max packs and sacks of different size on customers’ demand.
